Maryse, attuale Divas Champion ma fuori dalla scena per essersi infortunata alla rotula del ginocchio destro durante un house show di Smackdown tenutosi a Raleigh, nel North Carolina, con un messaggio sul suo blog ufficiale ha annunciato che non dovrà operarsi, grazie ai trattamenti della Dott.ssa Martha Dodson e del suo allenatore Larry Heck.

Inoltre Maryse ha aggiunto che sta facendo riabilitazione ogni giorno a Los Angeles, dove vive, e che potrà rientrare prima del previsto sulle scene di Smackdown.

Intanto, in attesa del suo rientro, alcune indiscrezioni danno come sua nuova sfidante al Divas Championship, che non dovrebbe essere reso vacante dalla WWE, Gail Kim, da poco nuovamente sotto contratto con la federazione di Stamford, di cui è già stata campionessa femminile, ed ex campionessa Knockout della TNA.

Confermato l'infortunio al ginocchio per Maryse

Con un comunicato sul suo sito internet ufficiale, la WWE ha confermato l'infortunio al ginocchio per Maryse, occorsole durante l'ultimo house show di Smackdown tenutosi a Raleigh, nel North Carolina.

Per la precisione la Divas Champion ha subìto una slogatura della rotula del ginocchio. Nella news la WWE ha specificato che ancora non si sa quanto la Diva franco-canadese dovrà stare lontano dalle scene.

Il Divas Championship cambia proprietà

Dalle registrazioni di SmackDown, avvenute ieri a Toronto, subito dopo Raw, è emerso che Maryse è diventata la nuova Divas' Champion dopo aver sconfitto Michelle McCool. Per Maryse è una sorta di vittoria in casa.

Maryse è assente da SmackDown! a causa del backstage heat tra lei e la Divas Champion Michelle McCool. Dal momento del loro litigio, la WWE ha deciso di pushare Maria.

Champion vs Champion matches a SmackDown! del 2 ottobre

E' stato confernato, da uno spot pubblicitario durante RAW di ieri notte, che il 3 ottobre, quando SmackDown! debutterà su MyNetworkTV, si svolgeranno Champion vs. Champion matches per l'intera puntata.

Vedremo così: WWE Champion vs. World Heavyweight Champion vs. ECW Champion, US Champion vs. InterContinental Champion, World Tag Champions vs. WWE Tag Champions, and Women's Champion vs. Divas Champion.
